This internal laboratory-based evaluation assessed reductions of MRSA, VRE, and CRE on Formica surfaces in an unoccupied ICU room following exposure to UV-C light from the Spectra 1000. Testing was performed across 100+ locations including direct and shaded areas, using covered control plates for reference. The study used non-clinical, experimental methods to assess microbial reduction as part of a simulated-use analysis. This study was not submitted to or reviewed by the EPA.
